Abstracts – Call for papers
** PAPER SUBMISSION IS NOW CLOSED **
The conference will break new ground not only in investigating a widely significant, yet little understood topic, but also bring together experts (musicologists, composers and performers) who are often separated within their respective fields of knowledge. Papers submitted should discuss any aspect of notations, unusual means of conveying musical ideas, or compare notational concepts and methods from early forms of notation with those used in current practice. Potential bursaries available for early student abstracts submitted. Proposals for themed sessions containing two or three papers on related topics are also welcomed.
You
will receive an e-mail of acceptance, issued by the Committee one month after the
submission deadline. Each proposal must consist of an abstract (of
approximately 200 words) and a brief CV which must include name, affiliation, postal address, email address and AV
requirements on a separate cover sheet.
