Research and teaching interests include the intertextuality of 15th-century poetry and song,
manuscript production and music books, the historiography of chansons, notation and visual music,
post-war music in Britain, and the New York School of American experimental composers. She has a
book forthcoming from Oxford University Press entitled 'Songs, Scribes, and Society: The History and
Reception of the Loire Valley Chansonniers' (2010), an edition of the known works of Johannes Delahaye
(Minerve, 2001), and articles in the Journal of Musicology, Revue belge de musicologie, the Danish
Yearbook of Musicology, Acta musicologica, Contemporary Music Review, and the interdisciplinary
journal Babel.
